Rally Croatia
The WRC Rally Croatia has had a long and storied history. It started in the second half of the 1980s and was held in Zagreb and its surroundings. In 1992, it was awarded the European prefix and its reputation continued to grow. In 2006, the FIA granted it status as a European Rally Championship (ERC) event and in 2021, it became part of the World Rally Championship (WRC). The rally has moved several times and has been held in various locations throughout the country, including Zagreb, Rijeka, Poreč, and Varaždin. The event takes place over several days, with 20 stages spread across six counties. The itinerary will remain largely unchanged in 2023, with a new special stage in Primorje Gorski Kotar County added. The Shakedown and Ceremonial Start will take place on Thursday, April 20, followed by two loops of four stages on Friday and Saturday, with the final day featuring four ultimate stages and a Ceremonial Finish near the Service Park.
